As a new season dawns, Scicon Bags is pleased to announce a new WorldTour team partnership, with UAE Team Emirates joining the growing number of teams traveling with a range of technical Scicon Bags in 2018.
Formed in 2017, the team grew from strength to strength in its first season, ending the year with 19 race victories, including stage wins in both the Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España, the one day WorldTour GP Montreal race, and overall victories at the Abu Dhabi Tour and the Tour of Turkey.
“SCICON is an important supplier for the team, because it lets us travel with the certainty that our bicycles are protected and safe,” explained Team Manager, Carlo Saronni. “Furthermore, the design of SCICON products contributes to reinforcing the quality of the team’s image”.
For 2018, the team is strengthened across the board with prestigious names capable of winning the biggest of races. Current European Champion Alexander Kristoff joins the ranks, alongside Grand Tour contenders Fabio Aru and Daniel Martin. They join the likes of Diego Ulissi, former world champion Rui Costa and Darwin Atapuma.
Both staff and riders will benefit from a selection of SCICON products, including custom team edition Scicon AeroComfort ROAD 3.0 TSA bike travel bags, Scicon Race Rain Bags and Scicon Podium Bags and Medical Bags.

UAE Team Emirates were recently in action in Australia at the Tour Down Under, with the Argentinian Vuelta a San Juan International race and Dubai Tour the next races in the calendar where the team’s bags will prove a vital asset.
