Following an in depth selection process at the end of 2018, with applications from over 4,000 athletes from all around the world, SCICON is proud to announce the list of athletes and adventurers who will see the world alongside the brand this season.
A combination of international athletes competing at the highest levels of their respective sports, inspirational athletes who travel the world with their bikes across road, MTB and triathlon, and social media influencers will be supported with a range of of SCICON products to facilitate their travels and activities throughout the year.
The final selection of athletes includes:
Currently racing for Boels Dolmans Pro Cycling Team, Amalie is a Danish road and track cyclist who has won world championships across both disciplines, including the 2016 Women’s World Road Race Championships.
A British international triathlete, Jodie is a double Commonwealth champion as well as a multiple winner at both World Cups and World Championship Series races. Following a string of injuries, Jodie is aiming to be back racing at her best in 2019 around the world at the World Triathlon Series.
Omar Di Felice
An ultracyclist who pushes himself and his equipment to the absolute limits in pursuit of new and extreme endurance goals, Omar has been working with SCICON for the past few years and is on board once again for 2019. SCICON will support Omar in his latest endeavours as he travels around the world with his bike riding unthinkable distances and challenges.

A travel blogger who embodies our spirit to #SeeTheWorld, Alex is also a qualified pilot who enjoys taking to the skies as much as possible, sharing his love of aviation while exploring the globe. With a passion for two wheels as well, Alex can be found pinning on a number and competing in a variety of events.
Raised in British Columbia, Canada, Angela soon found her talents leading to a series of impressive Ironman performances; including a sub-9 hour time to become North American Ironman Champion. She previously overcame Lyme disease and now contributes to raising awareness of the illness.

The Danish triathlete who abides by the motto “winners never quit and quitters never win”, she previously battled back from serious injury and is now amongst the sport’s elite athletes once again. A five time European Champion and previous Long Distance World Champion, Pedersen is one tough character.
Having already been a part of the SCICON family for the past few years, Caro Ferrer will once again be traveling the world and continuing her adventures with SCICON there for the journey. Having created a custom range of SCICON Race Rain bags and other accessories, Caro’s hugely popular social media following continue to push her to share content from her two wheeled travels.
Tim Van Berkel
Australian triathlete Tim finished 12th at the Kona Ironman World Championships in 2018 and will be looking to build on a strong finish to last season in 2019 as he continues to train and race around the world.
Another long distance triathlete, Aussie Sarah finished 6th in Kona last season in a year where she won the Ironman Championships in South America, Ironman Hamburg, Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz and also finishing 3rd at the Ironman European Championships.
