Scicon Bags launches technical partnership with Aqua Blue Sport
Yet another pro cycling team has taken the step to securing its bikes throughout a busy calendar of travel for racing and training, with new Irish Pro Continental team Aqua Blue Sport partnering with Scicon Bags for the coming season. Continuing its presence with an increasing number of teams and athletes across the sport, Scicon will be the official Travel Bags partner of the ambitious new team in 2017.
Aqua Blue Sport is a new outfit in the professional ranks, making its debut in 2017 with a strong roster of 16 riders. The team recently announced its bike partnership, with the riders racing on a fleet of Ridley bikes which will be transported safely and securely by custom team Scicon Aerocomfort Bike Travel Bags. Riders will also benefit from using custom Scicon Race Rain Bags, keeping kit organised and accessible both while racing and training.
Aqua Blue Sport choosing Scicon Bags as its Travel Bags partner is another sign that we’re the go-to choice for the world’s best when building a team of equipment partners. We’re really pleased to be supplying this new and exciting team with bags for the coming season and we look forward to also gathering rider feedback as we continue to look for ways to improve our products for the end consumer, using input from the most experienced riders in the peloton.
Christian Pearce, Brand Manager at Scicon Bags, explained.
Currently on training camp in the south of France, the Aqua Blue Sport team will first put their new Scicon Bags to use in the New Year as the team lines up at its first races of the season.
As a team with an international race programme, confidence in our ability to safely transport our equipment is paramount.
The new Aerocomfort Road 3.0 TSA from Scicon has excelled in initial testing and proven to be more than a match for the rigours of air travel. Additionally, its ease of use and ability to secure team bikes with minimal disassembly will save our mechanics precious time pre- and post-race. We are proud to be using Scicon bags and look forward to a successful partnership.
