Scicon Bags and ORICA SCOTT renew travel bag partnership
Scicon Bags is pleased to announce the latest partnership for the coming season, with the newly named ORICA SCOTT renewing its partnership with the WorldTour men’s team and women’s team now racing under the same title.
Fresh from a successful start to their 2017 campaign on home soil at the Santos Tour Down Under, the team lined up at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race before turning their sights to Europe. The trip to Europe will be the next opportunity of the season for the Australian team to pack their new SCOTT race and training bikes away in the team’s fleet of Scicon AeroComfort 3.0 TSA bike travel bags and journey around the world for the remainder of the racing season.
For this season the team has brought both men’s and women’s teams under the same ORICA SCOTT banner, and both teams got the year off to a flier. Wins in both men’s and women’s criterium championships and both women’s road race and time trial set the tone for the Australian race campaign. This was followed by an overall victory for the women at the Tour Down Under, while the four stage wins for the men’s team meant they also had their fair share of victory time.
We’re pleased that we can continue our partnership with ORICA SCOTT for another year. After the huge success the riders had last season, we’ll be alongside the team once again this year transporting bikes and equipment safely and securely around the world.
Christian Pearce, Scicon Bags Brand Manager
Coming from Australia we know better than most about the travel involved in international cycling and the delicate balance between ease of assembly, speed of transport and the importance of bike protection. Scicon Bags gets this balance right and we are looking forward to another season with the benefits of their products.
Shayne Bannan, ORICA-SCOTT General Manager
The team will be travelling with a range of Scicon Bags including the new AeroComfort 3.0 TSA Bike Travel Bags, as well as the customised Scicon Race Rain Bags.
