Scicon Congratulates 2000 Marcialonga Finishers
Scicon partnered with the Marcialonga Cycling Craft this year for the first time, facilitating safe travel for hundreds of participants from Italy and around the world.
The granfondo took place on Sunday 14th June in the heart of the Italian Dolomites- Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa.
The winners of the long course race were Enrico Zen and Valentina Gallo who cycled 135km across various tough climbs including San Pellegrino, Lavazé and San Pietro. Andrea Pontalto and Serena Gazzini won the shorter course of 80km.
This year’s event saw a noticiable increase in riders from overseas participating with around 150 travelling overseas to take part in the 9th Marcialong Cycling Craft. The majority of these riders protected their bikes in the AeroComfort 2.0 TSA and the AeroTech Evolution TSA as they were given an exclusive offer on Scicon bike protection when they signed up to the event.
These two bike cases are especially popular amongst cyclists travelling to sportives like the Marcialonga as they are easy-to-pack, lightweight and offer a high level of protection.
All 4 winners of the event were presented with a Scicon AeroComfort 2.0 TSA bike bag during the prizegiving ceremony meaning that they can pack safe to and ride fast at next year’s Marcialonga Cycling Craft.
