60-Second Interview with Tinkoff Rider Manuele Boaro

Tinkoff rider Manuele Boaro is one of the unsung heros of the Peloton, riding for Alberto Contador for the past 5 seasons, helping him to win World Tour titles including the most recent Giro D’Italia.

Born and raised in the same town as Scicon Bags- Bassano Del Grappa, this local cycling star is no stranger to the podium himself having recently came second at the Circuit De La Sarthe 2015 and got 3rd place at the Danmark Rundt the season before.

He sets aside 1 minute from his busy training schedule to talk to Scicon about climbing, coldplay and bike bags.

Biggest fear? Snakes!

Greatest obstacle? In racing, we always have obstacles! Climbing is especially hard for me!

Superstitions? None.

Biggest achievement? Becoming a professional rider.

Favourite cycling destination?

Favourite song to work out to? I like listening to Coldplay

Spirit animal? I don’t know!

Good luck charm? My Corno Portafortuna- it’s an Italian good luck charm- it’s a red horn.

One thing nobody knows? I don’t know!

Never have I ever… Bungee jumping!

Best thing about having a Scicon bike bag? It’s light, easy to pack and has a good level of protection.

Manuele Boaro travels with the Tinkoff edition AeroComfort 2.0 TSA.
