60-Second Interview with MTN-Qhubeka Rider Theo Bos
Theo Bos is famous for his success not only on the road but also in track cycling where he has accumulated an large number of shiny medals including an Olympic silver from 2004. Having ridden for Rabobank, Cervelo Test Team Theo is excited to join MTN-Qhubeka. He said in another recent interview:
The team races for a cause that is more than just winning races and that is Qhubeka, a social initiative where they aim to put children in Africa on bicycles. I really like this human element to the team. I hope I will be able to bring a fan base with me to the team that will bring new support to the Qhubeka initiative.
We managed to grab a minute of Theo’s time to ask him about his fears, achievements and, of course, his Scicon bike bag.

Biggest fear? Crashing hard.
Greatest obstacle? Mountains.
Superstitions? Not really.
Biggest achievement? All my road wins.
Favourite cycling destination? That must my home area, Nice.
Favourite song to work out to? I don’t have a particular song that I like, so I would say top 40 music.
Good luck charm? No.
One thing nobody knows? Let’s keep it like that.
Never have I ever… There’s a lot of things that I’ve not done so far, but I’m still young.
Best thing about having a Scicon bike bag? It rolls smoothly and I never need to worry about my bike being harmed while transported from one race destination to another.
Theo travels with the Scicon AeroComfort 2.0.
